I was craving Pho and our usual go to Pho resto is closed. Good thing we tried Saigon Chef that is very close to our home and to be honest it’s way better than the Pho resto were used to go!!! I ordered Satay beef noodle soup and my husband ordered Hue style beef noodle soup. We also ordered Banh Mi for take out which is good too. I also even forgot to take a good shot on what we ordered because my mind was blown away when I tasted my ordered soup Our experience trying here made me crave for more!! Amazing flavors, great service and the portion of the serving is great too! Definitely coming back here.
Came in for lunch on a Sunday. We were the first customers of the day. Service was super fast and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and spacious. Food was delicious. Loved the tea!
This is our first time to this Vietnamese restaurant and we love it . The food is delicious with fair price and quick service. This is a new restaurant so I didn’t expect much about the taste, but when I tried it for the first time I was surprised about the taste and how close it was compare to the Vietnamese Pho I had tried in Viet Nam . The service is excellent, food arrived less than 10 mins. I would recommend “com suon bi cha” and Special Pho. Both are great and cost less than 20. . For drink I would recommend you guys tried the avocado coffee . Highly recommend for family and couple or group of friends.
New owners have taken over this spot and the food tastes amazing! They have the 7 beef course which has beef prepared 7 different ways. It's not often served at restaurants due to how tedious it can be but I'm very happy they kept it! Everything tastes super fresh and the quality is better than before. Super delicious, it tastes better than it used to. We were gifted the avocado drink but it is super creamy and refreshing with a dollop of coconut ice cream. New owners are very friendly and came to chat with us. I can't wait to return and try the rest of their menu.
It was my second time there, and it was a great experience. They greeted us with a free pot of tea, which was a nice touch. We ordered the “Satay Meat Pho” and the “Meat and Shrimp on Rice”. The pho was amazing—so flavorful and refreshing. The rice dish was tasty too, but I think they could have served a bit more rice.
One of the best Vietnamese restaurant in Calgary! The staff were so kind and accommodating. They were not after how much tip you will give. Their service is excellent. The food especially soup was so great. We always come here to eat . I highly recommend this restaurant.
The first dish is rare beef dipped in vinegar water (beef dipped in vinegar) the vinegar water has white onions cut and chopped, fried onions, dipping OK because there is a lot of meat and vegetables. beef mixed with herbs also has an impressive flavor, soft and smooth beef eaten with vegetable noodles Avocado coffee is very delicious, because I can't drink it but I tried it so I drank another cup and then sat panting because of an allergic reaction it's not the shop's coffee.. The owner said that this season's avocados are not as good as last time But in Phuong's eyes, the recipe makes a cup of fragrant Coffee but still has the smell of avocado which is very delicious. Avocado blended into a smoothie with ice cream (feels like home-made ice cream but forgot to ask) moderately fatty, butter makes it rich, delicious. I bought Hue beef noodle soup and grilled rib rice. Rice Vermicelli If you eat it on the spot, it will probably taste better because taking it home will also reduce the quality.. New family owned restaurant serving a wide assortment of typical southern Vietnamese cuisine with a speciality in hotpot. We tried the beef 7 ways and it was very filling. The avocado coconut shake was really good and better than the one I had in Da Nang a couple months ago; smooth creamy and nice balance of flavours. The staff and owners were all nice and checked on us multiple times.
